A full house of
members enjoyed glorious weather as Pembroke Dock Bowling Club
got its new season underway on Saturday with the traditional
rolling of the original silver jack (which was first rolled on
the green in 1925). This year the silver jack was rolled by Mr.
Arthur Jarvis, the Pembrokeshire County President (a member of
Pembroke Dock Bowling Club). Also a presentation took place of
three seats and a new flag pole, donated to the club in memory
of past members Jim Goff, John Brown, Watkin Cole and Wilf
Harries by the respective families. |
