Our club has been successful in its bid for funding from the Community Facilities and Activities Programme from the Welsh Assembly. It has been awarded £32,155,63 for the construction of a new lounge, the refurbishment of our bar, cellars and changing rooms. There is also funding for a new disabled toilet facility and connection to the mains sewer system. The club which opened on Saturday April 1st are delighted with the award.

This is a copy of an e-mail that I have received from our club secretary Derek Skone.
Graham,
The total cost of the project for PDBC is £93,000 split between the sewerage £18,000 and the balance the extension. Funding has been granted by the Pembrokeshire regeneration unit £40,000 and CFAP (Community Facilities and Activity programme) for £32,155.
On Friday 21st April at 4.45pm, a grant presentation will be made at PDBC by members of the Welsh Assembly Edwina Hart and Christine Gwyther. Also in attendance will be Councillor Brian Hall and members of the Pembs Regeneration unit Mrs Sinead Henehan Community Regeneration Manager and Mr Alex Allison.
